**Jouw functie**:
Alcoholverslaving is een van de meest voorkomende psychiatrische stoornissen in Nederland. Hoewel alcoholverslaving 2 tot 3 keer vaker voorkomt bij mannen dan bij vrouwen, wordt dit verschil steeds kleiner. Daarnaast blijkt alcoholverslaving ruim 3 keer zo vaak voor te komen onder genderminderheden (transgender en genderdiverse personen) in vergelijking met cisgender personen. Helaas zijn sekse en genderverschillen in de ontwikkeling en behandeling van alcoholverslaving tot op heden beperkt onderzocht. Het doel van dit PhD project is om onderzoek te doen naar sekse en genderverschillen in stress-gerelateerd alcohol gebruik in zowel een klinische

Als PhD kandidaat zal je primaire focus zijn om de statistische analyses (zoals dynamic structural equation modells) voor deze complexe longitudinale en fysiologische data op te zetten en uit te voeren. Je zal hierbij niet alleen kijken naar biologische verschillen (zoals variaties in seksehormoonlevels) maar ook naar sociaalculturele genderverschillen, zoals variaties in genderexpressie. Daarnaast zal je de resultaten opschrijven in wetenschappelijke artikelen, met als uiteindelijk doel meer inzicht te krijgen in sekse
- en genderverschillen in de werkingsmechanisme van verslaving.

LET OP: Omdat de data van dit project al zijn verzameld, betreft het hier een PhD traject van 3 jaar.

**Jouw taken**
- Het analyseren van complexe data, waaronder fysiologische en ecologische momentary assessment data middels geavanceerde statistiek zoals ‘dynamic structural equation modelling’
- Het schrijven van wetenschappelijke artikelen
- Naast je onderzoekstaken (90%) zal een deel van het werk bestaan uit het geven van onderwijs (10%) waaronder het begeleiden van bachelor en master theses en het superviseren van werkgroepen op het gebied van (neuro)psychologie

**Jouw profiel**:

- Een (bijna) afgeronde research master op het gebied van psychologie, cognitieve neurowetenschappen, cognitieve wetenschappen of gerelateerd veld
- Omdat het een driejarig PhD project betreft, is het belangrijk dat de kandidaat een research master heeft afgerond of over vergelijkbare kwalificaties beschikt (een master van mínimaal 120 ECTS, waarvan 60 ECTS besteed zijn aan onderzoeksvakken).
- Programeer vaardigheden (Matlab, Python, of R);
- Sterke statistische kwaliteiten, waarbij ervaring met het analyseren van complexe longitudinale data, middels (dynamic) structural equation modelling, een voordeel heeft.
- Beheersing van de Engelse taal in woord en geschrift; Beheersing van de Nederlandse taal is gewenst;
- Je hebt sterke communicatie vaardigheden, neemt initiatief en hebt interesse om in een multidisciplinair team te werken

- Een salaris van € 3.226,00 (Promovendus / PhD )** **en maximaal € 3.539,00 (Promovendus / PhD ) bruto per maand in het derde jaar, bij een voltijds dienstverband.
- Een arbeidsovereenkomst van in eerste instantie 1 jaar. Bij voldoende perspectief verlengd tot een totaal van 3 jaar. Je dissertatie aan het einde van het vierde jaar vormt de afsluiting van de arbeidsovereenkomst.

Daarnaast bieden wij je aantrekkelijke secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden en regelingen. Enkele voorbeelden:

- Bij een voltijdse 38-urige werkweek hoort een vakantietegoed van 232 uur per jaar. Als je ervoor kiest om 40 uur te werken, beschik je op jaarbasis over 96 extra vakantie-uren. Bij een deeltijdaanstelling wordt dit naar rato berekend.
- 8% vakantietoeslag en 8,3% eindejaarsuitkering
- ruimte voor persoonlijke ontwikkeling
- korting op (en af en toe exclusieve toegang tot) theatervoorstellingen en cursussen van cultuurcentrum Griffioen
- bijdrage aan reiskosten voor woon-werkverkeer
