De ligging van ons hotel is ideaal; naast het Centraal Station, het Beatrix theater en de Jaarbeurs, maar ook lopen onze gasten zo door Hoog Catharijne de binnenstad in. NH Utrecht is het grootste hotel van Utrecht en we hebben een leuke mix van zakelijke en individuele gasten. Doordeweeks zijn er veel congressen, meetings en beursgangers. In het weekend ontvangen we voornamelijk gasten die komen om te shoppen, stappen of een bezoekje brengen aan de musical. Kortom; geen dag is hetzelfde. Nieuwe collega's worden snel opgenomen in ons team en daarnaast zijn er ook veel collega's uit andere NH Hotels naar ons hotel getrokken voor een volgende stap in hun carrière. We werken veel samen met ons cluster hotel NH Centre Utrecht (Janskerkhof) en het zou zomaar kunnen dat je daar ook eens wordt ingeroosterd. **Wie ben jij?**
- Van gasten helpen krijg jij een grote glimlach op je gezicht. De 'always a pleasure' mentaliteit is waarin jij jezelf herkent en je zet graag een stap extra voor de gast;
- Jij bent een 'Natural Host', en hebt enige jaren ervaring als receptionist, ervaring als Desk Manager/Shift Leader/Supervisor is een pré;
- Je bent goed in prioriteiten stellen, beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal perfect, bent administratief zeer sterk en kennis van computersystemen is zeker een pluspunt;
- Je houdt van afwisseling in je werk en werktijden en haalt energie uit het aansturen van een team.

**Een dag uit het leven van een Desk Manager**
06:45 Je bent omgekleed en met een kopje koffie gearriveerd in de backoffice. Je collega van de nachtdienst verzorgt de overdracht. Jij noteert de actiepunten, houdt een briefing voor jouw team en verdeelt de taken voor de shift;
07:00 Jij begint aan je checklijst en houdt ondertussen in de gaten of je collega's aan de balie hulp nodig hebben.
08:00 Je hebt de aankomsten van vandaag gecontroleerd en bijzonderheden gecommuniceerd naar de andere afdelingen
10:00 In afwezigheid van jouw leidinggevende neem jij de honneurs waar van de Front Office tijdens de Morning Meeting. Na de meeting ga je terug naar kantoor en tussen de telefoontjes door, pak jij de ook de binnenkomende mails op en werk je je door de verdere 'ochtenspits' heen;
12:00 Lunchen met je collega's van andere afdelingen
13:00 Je kijkt of er nog uitcheckende gasten zijn en gaat verder met de checklijst tot deze af is;
14:00 Je zorgt dat de overdracht ge-update wordt voor de late dienst en bereid je de afronding van de je dienst voor
14:45 De late dienst is binnengekomen en jij kan beginnen met de overdracht
15:00 Lekker naar huis
