Traineeship Financial Analyst

**What you'll do**
As a Financial Analyst Trainee, you will embark on a challenging three-year journey designed to equip you with the skills and experience needed to excel in the field of financial recovery and analysis. Throughout this Financial Analyst Traineeship, you will progress through three distinct internal steps, which will build upon each other to prepare you for a future as Financial Analyst.
**Year 1: Statements**
Your Financial Analyst Traineeship journey will begin with the Statements team. Here you’ll get acquainted with our systems and gain a deep understanding of our operational processes, which will set the foundation for success in your traineeship and beyond. As a member of this team you will:
- Receive an amount of statements according to the target to make qualitative calls to suppliers in a professional and user-friendly way within the appointed deadlines.
- Process received statements according to the target, as well as process invoices and update master data within the appointed deadlines in a secure manner, using the appropriate tools.
**Year 2: Audit and Recovery**
Once you’ve mastered the activities in Statements, you’ll transition into audit work, where your responsibilities will expand to include recovering claims. You will work closely together with the Financial Analysts to:
- Analyze the client’s data to look for claims, with which you will;
- Follow up upon in Transparent’s audit software, crosschecking with the client’s ERP data and invoices/credit notes.
**Year 3: Financial Analyst**
In your final Traineeship year, you will take on the role of Financial Analyst. You will learn how to perform audits from end-to-end under supervision of the Delivery Manager. By the end of the year you will be responsible of your own projects. Next to that you will:
- Analyze and verify financial statements and financial data.
- Once verified, you will provide advice to the client based on this data, to help them understand and address potential causes.
- Be responsible for customer satisfaction, which will teach you a lot about stakeholder management.

- Education in Economics, Business Administration, etc. is a plus
- Relevant work experience is a plus

- Native in Dutch and Fluent in English (both written and oral)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
