**Internship Data Science (Cryo-EM Sample Prep)**

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures. You will focus on learning how our organization runs and can be encouraged to gain valuable insight that can further your curiosity about your chosen career field.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement a structured database schema to store sample data, including preparation parameters, image data, and AI outputs.
- Integrate data from various sources into the database.
- Document and present findings, including recommendations for future development and potential integrations.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Student enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related technical field.
- Experience with relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) for structured data design and optimization.
- Proficiency in Python for database interactions and handling scientific data.
- Knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration on development projects.
- Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy libraries for processing and managing large datasets.
- Eager to learn.
