We zijn op zoek naar twee Maintenance Technicians - Mechanisch binnen de Maintenance organisatie van Dow in Terneuzen, Nederland.
Als Maintenance Technician - Mechanisch ben je verantwoordelijk voor de begeleiding van contractoren in de plant die voor Dow het onderhoud doen, je zorgt dus dat Maintenance taken op veilige, efficiënte en effectieve wijze, overeenkomstig het jobpakket worden uitgevoerd. Hierbij past je technische kennis en expertise toe om onze fabrieken te onderhouden en repareren. Samen met ons Maintenance Team werk je aan de verbetering van de betrouwbaarheid van al onze productie faciliteiten. Door middel van training en ervaring ontwikkel je de kennis en vaardigheden om een verscheidenheid aan werkopdrachten te kunnen uitvoeren.
Tijdens je werkzaamheden is het belangrijk dat je nauw samenwerkt met je collega’s van Operations en onze Engineering afdeling, zodat de juiste problemen geïdentificeerd en opgelost worden.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Checkt of alle noodzakelijke informatie in het werkpakket aanwezig is en geeft feedback aan de planner bij afwijkingen.
- Bekijkt of er problemen zijn met de uitvoering op technisch, veiligheid of ander gebied in de plant.
- Beoordeelt of de contractor die het werk uitvoert de kennis en ervaring heeft om dit werk te kunnen/mogen uitvoeren.
- Zorgt dat je de nodige (kritische) procedures en protocollen hebt en neemt deze door.
- Overlegt met de werkvoorbereider van de firma wanneer het werk uitgevoerd kan worden.
- Zorgt ervoor dat de juiste vergunning wordt aangevraagd.
- Checkt of alle machines en gereedschappen beschikbaar en veilig staat om er aan te kunnen werken.
- Voert alle werkzaamheden uit volgens de daarvoor geldende procedure met gebruik van de checklist indien van toepassing.
- Overlegt met de toezichthouder en werkvoorbereider als er extra handelingen nodig blijken te zijn.
- Bij additionele problemen bij een nieuwe werkorder zorg je voor gedegen onderzoek naar de oorzaak van het probleem.
- Nadat de werkzaamheden van de contractor klaar, controleer je het werk en doet commissioning. Na commissioning lever je de apparatuur op aan Operations.
- Voert kwaliteitscontrole uit en assisteert bij het bepalen of het probleem opgelost is.
Kwalificaties
- Je hebt een technisch MBO 4 diploma, bij voorkeur in de richting van werktuigbouwkunde of je hebt technisch MBO3 diploma met mínimaal 3 jaar relevante wekervaring.
- Als je ervaring hebt in maintenance is dat een plus, maar dit is niet noodzakelijk.
- Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands, kennis van de Engelse taal is een plus.
