As the Front of House Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations for the entire Front of House Team. Your hands-on approach and leadership skills will be instrumental in providing exceptional service to our guests. From handling guest complaints to overseeing VIP arrangements, you'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and communication within the department and across the hotel
- Key Responsibilities:- Ensure smooth operation of shifts for the Front of House Team, working closely with team members at and around the Front Desk.
- Address guest complaints and other issues promptly, ensuring VIP guests receive exemplary service.
- Facilitate effective communication within the Front of House Department and with other hotel departments.
- Plan and anticipate hotel occupancy, guest expectations, VIP needs, and events to ensure seamless operations.
- Oversee Lost & Found procedures and maintain overall cleanliness standards throughout the hotel, conducting daily spot checks.
- Serve as the first point of contact for Operations Medewerkers, offering assistance and advice as needed.
- Assist with HR-related tasks within the Rooms Department, including scheduling, hour-registration, and feedback conversations with team members.
- Provide training and coaching to Operations Medewerkers and other employees as required, contributing ideas for process improvement within the Rooms Department.- Job Requirements:- Flexibility to work different shifts, including nightshifts, on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as an operational leader within a Rooms Department (Housekeeping or Front of House).
- Physical strength to stand for an entire shift and handle equipment such as furniture and vacuum cleaners.
- Proficiency in systems used within the Rooms Department.
- Training skills to effectively coach and train Operations Medewerkers in their roles.
- Strong communication skills in English, with experience leading a team of diverse cultural backgrounds being an advantage.- We offer a competitive salary, this will be discussed during the interview.What’s in it for you?
