**Introduction to the job**:
The Demand & Allocation Role exists within the the Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) department, which in turn is part of Customer Support (CS). The CSCM team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. We deliver material to our Customers in the Field on time, in full, and at the right quality and cost. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight, with downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable supply chain services. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of the supply chain aspects of commercial upgrades, field change orders, machine shipments, transfers and after sales. Within CSCM, the Demand & Allocation team is a central team that assures that each region where we serve customers has a balanced Demand & Supply (D&S) for a specific set of critical materials (spare parts & tools) needed to service the ASML machines.

**Role and responsibilities**:
Mission: To validate and monitor the worldwide field demand & manage the D&S (Demand & Supply) balance for a specific set of materials (spare parts & tools) with the goal of minimizing material availability risk for our customers.

As a Demand and Allocation lead (DAL) you drive D&S balance on a continuous improvement basis to improve our after-sales contract performance and ensure material availability, closely collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders located both internationally across all the regions where ASML is present, as well as in our headquarters in Veldhoven.

You will be representing our customers service demand centrally, especially in critical situations. You are the point of contact in the tiger teams with your supply chain counterparts for questions or input about tools and parts that require special attention.

Furthermore, you are responsible for driving the international (supply chain) preparation of Upgrade, Install or Relocation (UIR) events. In this role you are responsible for managing the preparation together with colleagues worldwide allowing you to focus on improving operational indicators and leading/supporting continuous improvement initiatives. For this role we are looking for people who can maintain a high-level view while keeping track of operational details and who are able to manage (senior) stakeholders.

Job description
- Validating demand enrichments coming from our internal customers and or central areas and assuring a correct forecasting takes place key materials
- Driving closure of D&S gaps by conducting material availability analysis (move rates) and by controlling demand where needed
- Critical materials:

- Identifying, escalating and driving action for potentially critical materials
- Allocation of critical materials to manage material availability in the field & communication towards stakeholders on critical & high usage materials
- Proactive process improvement and mitigation actions within Supply Chain to boost material availability
- Trend monitoring & analysis execution on scarce materials to determine mitigating actions to prevent material unavailability
- Prioritization & allocation and re-distribution of materials to balance worldwide D&S for a specific material
- Proactive involvement in the decision-making process when deviations in the planning occur
- Partnership with our customer supply chain teams operating in the field:

- Confirmed D&S communication
- Support with exception material requests
- Identification, Analysis and Follow-up on D&S imbalances and related usage forecast
- Upgrades, Installs and Relocations (UIR) events:

- Manage critical materials for machine Upgrade, Install & Relocation events, in close cooperation with Global and Central stakeholders
- Do post-mortem demand accuracy drive to drive action towards a more accurate UIR demand
- Review of forecasting & stock planning proposals
- Contribution (or leadership) of improvement projects

**Education and experience**:

- Relevant bachelor/master’s degree (e.g. supply chain or engineering)
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in a large international company, ideally supply chain, engineering, operations or procurement background
- Knowledge of planning processes preferably in a customer service organization
- Knowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industry
