Prodrive consists of multiple business lines and is a rapidly growing business. In anticipation of further growth, the Prodrive R&D organization needs further professionalization. As such Prodrive is seeking a Development Lead to the R&D organization of the Embedded Computing Systems business line.

**About the role**

**Key responsibilities**
- Lead the project portfolio in scope of ECS program, according to the latest standards.
- Adhere to timelines, budgets, and standards while fostering innovation and improvements.
- Develop and manage our local R&D team, including engineers and project managers.
- Ensure the personal and professional growth of our R&D team members.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the team and resolve issues on projects.
- Translate customer roadmaps into technical roadmaps and execute related competence development plans, building a team ready for the next growth phase.
- Engage and manage team performance, including setting targets.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with management team members to own the P&L of the program, targeting profitable growth.
- Ensure close collaboration with key stakeholders in operations and supporting functions like Finance and HR.

**Profile**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in embedded system design and development
- 4+ years of managerial experience
- Experience in the embedded computing industry, specifically with system integration, is preferred
- Strong understanding of embedded computing principles and architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely
