For our international client in **Leiden** we are seeking a highly qualified and skilled **Financial Reporting Accountant (M/F/x)** to join our team. As the Financial Reporting Accountant, you will have a key role in our day-to-day financial operations. Your strong analytical skills will help you convert operational information into precise and error-free financial figures. Your main responsibilities will include conducting month-end closing activities, overseeing general ledger accounts, and ensuring the accurate reconciliation of GL accounts.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and **year-end closing**:

- Maintain the financial records of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, reconcile GL accounts, such as bank, **prepayments,** receivables, accruals, fixed assets, and operational lease.
- Issue sales and intercompany recharge **invoices**.
- Run foreign currency payment to 3rd parties.
- Lead intercompany activities and payment netting.
- Collaborate with accounts payable administrator on 4-eye controlling of vendor master data, invoice booking, payment run, and VAT declaration.
- Update WKR document and personnel cost.
- Submit data for CBS questionnaire within the timeline.
- Support Finance Manager with governmental grant submission, statutory financial reporting, auditor's request and ad-hoc tasks.

**Your Profile**
- You have a minimum of **4 years** of extensive general ledger accounts experience in a similar role in the Dutch environment, preferably within multinational organizations.
- ** Bachelor's** degree in accounting or finance.
- Proven track record of collaborating with auditors and statutory financial reporting are preferred.
- Knowledge of Dutch GAAP, US GAAP, Exact Globe, **Oracle **Hyperion Financial Management, and Blackline is a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (understanding and reading).
- Energetic individual who is proactive, accurate, and attention to detail.
