**SECURITY GUARD - TECHNOLOGY SECTOR**

Our team of Security Guards are key to our operations. The purpose of the job is to monitor, maintain and action various measures in our secure facilities. You will follow standard procedures and taking both reactive and proactive actions as necessary.

**Responsibilities & Main Tasks**
- Be visibly present
- Perform access controls / work with the access system
- Helping people when they are in need and trying to maintain order, peace and security
- Monitoring BMS/EMS/CCTV
- Handling incidents
- Escalation process management
- Identify/report/report problems or situations that deviate
- Determine when to sound the alarm or otherwise use it
- Performing security/technical rounds
- Report Health & Safety related items
- If necessary, alert the police, fire brigade or ambulance
- Remove people who violate rules or regulations report on the actions taken
- Create shift handover
- Small housekeeping tasks
- Level 1 remote hands tasks (training provided)
- Plug / unplug power
- Plug / unplug patch cables
- Install patch cables between customers
- Media change (hot swap hard disk, USB, CD, DVD, Tape)
- Reboot

**Skills & Experience**
- Customer facing
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Can work under pressure
- Implementation of services
- Handle confidential information
- Able to perform some physical tasks

Education and admission requirements (some can also be obtained after employment)
- Security Officer of the SVPB/ECABO diploma (level 2)
- VOG
- Driving license
- BHV certificate
- VCA certificate

**Shifts & Location**

The Security Guard will have a shift pattern with the following 3 shifts:
07h-15h / 15-23h / 23-07h

The Security Guard will be working on a data center in Amsterdam.
