**Description**

The project will combine ideas, methods and data from artificial intelligence, data science, cognitive science, and cyber. The intended focus of the project is the development of predictive models to estimate the risk posed by cyber vulnerabilities.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in computer science or artificial intelligence, cybersecurity or a related field. If you expect to obtain your degree in December 2024, you are also eligible.
- Knowledge of data science in general as well as practical experience with conducting data science analyses with good programming skills.
- Excellent knowledge of English and good academic writing skills.

Description:
**The School and the department**

The Joint Sigint Cyber Unit (JSCU) is a Dutch government organisation, founded in 2013 jointly by the General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) and the Military Intelligence and Security Agency (MIVD). Its main tasks are interception of radio and satellite traffic (SIGINT), cryptanalysis of intercepted encrypted data (codebreaking) and obtaining civil and military intelligence through cyber-operations.

Employment conditions
- A full-time position.
- Dutch citizen, fluency in Dutch, excellent command of English
- A salary ranging from a minimum of 3.345 to a maximum of 5.278 gross per month for full time employment, based on UFO profile Researcher 4 and salary scale 10 of the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities.
- A holiday allowance of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% (annually).
- Assistance in finding accommodation (for foreign employees).

Research and education at the Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences (TSHD) has a unique focus on humans in the context of the globalizing digital society, on the development of artificial intelligence and interactive technologies, on their impact on communication, culture and society, and on moral and existential challenges that arise. The School of Humanities and Digital Sciences consists of four departments: Communication and Cognition, Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence, Culture Studies and Philosophy; several research institutes and a faculty office. Also the University College Tilburg is part of the School. Each year around 275 students commence a Bachelor or (Pre) Master Program. The School has approximately 2000 students and 250 employees.
