You stay up-to-date on the latest developments and you mentor your team members in becoming technical experts.

When and where you and your team do your work is up to you We work hybrid, which means you can flexibly decide where and when you can work most comfortably and effectively.
As Chapter Lead, you will work at the department Finance & Risk Data domain. We operate on multiple data platforms like the Risk Analytics Platform and the CoDaC Platform, two Azure platforms used for credit risk data modelling purposes and non-financial risk analysis and reporting. Besides that we have platforms for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) use cases, our FinTax platform to work on Tax authority regulatory requests and we are solving reconciliation challenges with our Finance & Risk Data Domain Store.

**Your job**:
You will combine working as Data Engineer with your role as Chapter Lead. About 60% of the time, you will work in your own Scrum Team but also closely with Data Engineers and Data Analysts in other teams on designing and developing future-proof IT solutions of high quality.
The rest of the time you will manage your chapter.

This includes:

- Educating yourself and others with the right technical capabilities and the latest innovations.
- Mentoring your Chapter members on technical craftsmanship.
- Actively participating in knowledge gaining and sharing by joining triangles, circles, communities and events.
- Proper alignment with stakeholders. For example, informing leadership on the alignment you have with the Solution Engineer on the technological landscape and lifecycle.
- Working in an Agile environment and advocating the Agile and CICD processes.
- You mentor your Chapter, evaluate technical assessments, do interviews and ensure that new employees are properly onboarded.
- Take care of the HR processes to facilitate all aspects relating to the influx, development, performance and outflux of employees.
- Create and foster a healthy working environment and an inclusive culture for your Chapter.

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is a young department within Finance. We are an ambitious and international group of people. Do you think you‘re a fit?

Check your profile:

- Expert in data engineering
- Experienced with cloud solutions and infrastructure (preferably Azure)
- Hands on with building data solutions with Big Data and Orchestration tooling (i.e. Databricks, Spark and Airflow)
- Deep understanding of data processes, data pipelines (ETL), and data lifecycle
- Good understanding of and experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Experience with coaching and mentoring your less experienced team members in their design and development activities
- You have knowledge of and are interested in the latest IT-trends, both within and outside your area of expertise (Cloud, API, Open Banking, CI/CD, SOA, etc.)
- Having relevant certifications like Azure DP-203, PCAP for Python and Databricks Associate Data Engineering is a plus
- Fluent in English
