**The Role**
As an HR Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the optimal functioning of the Human Resources department within our organisation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by supporting the development and well-being of our employees. This position will suit a proactive and motivated individual with a passion for HR and a desire to make a positive impact.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
- End-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including assistance with recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, absenteeism, and offboarding.
- Handling administrative tasks related to employee records, such as maintaining accurate personnel files, managing leave requests, and updating HR databases.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.
- Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance issues, disciplinary actions, and employee relations.
- Coordinating employee training and development initiatives, including scheduling sessions, and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Supporting HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement surveys.
- Keeping abreast of legislation and best practices in HR.
- Assist in continuously improving HR processes and practices.
Assisting with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR administration.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legislation.
- Proactive with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other HR software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Problem-solving skills. Proficient in both English and Dutch languages.
