Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and accounting, and an interest in leveraging cutting-edge technologies? Join DSM-Firmenich as an intern in our Financial Control and Accounting EMEA team, where you will help us with optimizing our processes while exploring out of the box experience.

**What you will do**

As an intern, you will analyze the activities of our Financial Control and Accounting EMEA team, focusing on the financial controllers. You will investigate current activities and identify best practices. Additionally, you will explore how the most recent technologies can be leveraged within Finance.

**Key achievements**

End Goal:

- Your key achievement will be to optimize financial reporting activities, ensuring a smooth, efficient and timely process.

Sub-Goals:

- ** Investigate Current Practices**:Conduct a thorough review of the current activities and practices within our financial control teams.
- ** Identify Best Practices**:Identify and leverage best practices within the team
- ** New technolody integration**: Explore and document how new technologies (e.g., AI) could be leveraged and implemented to enhance and streamline processes.

**What you bring**
- ** Duration**:4 months
- ** Field of Study**: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
- ** Language**: Fluent in English. Dutch and French are considered a plus.
- ** Skills**:

- High-level understanding of financial control and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest or experience in new technologies within finance is a high plus.
