**About Our Client**

The client is an international organization in the tobacco industry, operating across multiple countries. The company prioritizes innovation, sustainability, and responsible entrepreneurship, with a strong focus on maintaining high product quality.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services in line with market and factory requirements.
- Resolve issues related to supplier performance in the delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain procurement-related analytical reports via the procurement system.
- Manage the existing supplier base within the respective area, ensuring effective communication with suppliers.
- Monitor compliance with corporate procurement policies, code of conduct, operating guidelines, local regulations, and ensure visibility for corporate audits and JSOX requirements.
- Assist the supervisor and category managers with ad hoc procurement activities in accordance with the procurement plan.
- Support the identification of requirements, supplier bidding, and negotiation processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business need

**The Successful Applicant**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an indirect purchasing role.
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Purchasing.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch is preferred.
- Proficient in SAP.
- Experience with logistics.
- Commercial background.
- Strong communication skills, able to interact effectively with individuals from diverse nationalities.
- Expertise in Procurement and Reporting.
- Strong skills in Business Partner Relationship Building.
- Proficient in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
- Must be based in The Netherlands and willing to travel to Amstelveen.
