Fleet Coordinator

We are looking for a **Fleet Coordinator **. You will be responsible for the logistic coordination of our tank containers in Benelux and Germany.

Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk-liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 45,000 tank containers, owns a worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots.

**What you will be doing**

As a Fleet Coordinator, you be in charge of navigating a dynamic logístical challenge. With over 45,000 tank containers in constant motion, it's your mission oversee the allocation of tank containers, deciding which depot or location best serves each booking while actively managing inventory levels to keep everything running smoothly.

Stolt Tank Containers (STC) helps customers minimize costs and increase efficiency across their supply chains. Our strategy focuses on improving customer centricity and maintaining the best fleet, depot and vendor networks.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate closely with various depots, truckers, shipping lines and agents to execute repositioning of empty/dirty/clean tank containers, tank allocations, ensuring the most cost-effective decisions are made.
- Decide from which depot or location each approved booking will be served.
- Collaborate with the regional commercial team to align tank and customer data in the system, ensuring smooth and accurate allocations.
- Optimize the combination of laden and empty moves, all while adhering to strict safety regulations.
- Monitor vendor (depot) performance, addressing any issues with the Fleet Manager.
- Ensure tank status updates are accurately reflected in the STC operational system.
- Assist the Fleet Manager in monitoring and managing depot inventory levels to meet time-in-depot targets.

**Qualifications**
- MBO 4 or Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Tank Containers specifications is considered as a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch, German or French will be considered as a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and hands-on mentality.
