- As a **Supply Chain Analyst** I, you will be part of our dynamic and fast-paced supply chain and logistics team. This role focuses on optimizing BSC’s logistics and transportation aspects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the freight and logistics operations**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- **Data Analysis**: Analyzing large sets of data related to shipment and delivery times, costs, and inventory levels to identify issues and opportunities for improvement
- **Process Improvement**: Recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance Traffic and Freight team efficiency and reduce costs
- **Vendor Management**: Evaluating vendor operations, such as freight forwarders, to ensure they meet quality standards and negotiating contracts to ensure reliability
- **Collaboration**: Working closely with other departments like sales, production, and customer service to ensure smooth operations and address any Traffic/Freight issues
- **Performance Tracking**: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on the supply chain’s performance to internal stakeholders
- **Risk Management**: Identifying and mitigating risks within the Traffic/Freight teams to ensure continuous and efficient operations
- **Process Evaluation**: Regularly reviewing and analyzing current Freight/Traffic processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus.

**Experience**:

- **Internships or Part-Time Roles**: Experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain management through internships or part-time roles is highly valuable
- **Entry-Level Positions**: Roles such as Logistics Coordinator, Operations Analyst, or similar positions in the supply chain industry
- **Analytical Experience**: 1 to 2 years of experience in an analytical role within a supply chain environment
- **Relevant Skills**: Proficiency in data analysis, familiarity with supply chain software, and strong problem-solving abilities

**_Position will start with a defined term contract expected 12-18 months._**
**_Workmode hybrid at our European Distribution Center Kerkrade-The Netherlands._**
