**Your mission**:
The GL Accountant will be responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of Epson Europe controlled inventory and support the Senior GL Accountant in other inventory related areas, such as J-Sox compliance and external audit. Performs general accounting activities such as maintenance of fixed assets, preparation and control of inventory provisions and accruals. Maintains transfer prices for Epson Europe B.V. in relation to EMEAR group companies and the Seiko Epson Corporation (SEC).

As flexibility is key to a modern lifestyle this role also comes with three days WFH.
**What you will do**:

- Monitoring and maintenance of Epson Europe controlled inventory:

- Monitor movements of all ingoing and outgoing stock from both the financial and the quantitative point of view in cooperation with the Logistics & New Product Operations department, bringing to Logistics & New Product Operations’ attention any anomalies to be explained and/or modified to ensure financial correctness
- Provide monthly reports of stock levels, scrap, obsolescence and other non-standard costs to local management and SEC
- Attend stock counts held at the various warehouse locations in Europe complementing and at times substituting the Logistics & New Product Operations and internal Audit team
- General Accounting activities:

- Calculation of duty accrual and deferral
- Warranty provision
- External warranty deferral
- Rebate provision and reconciliation
- Fixed asset accounting and reconciliation
- Maintaining transfer prices:

- Complete, accurate and timely entry into business systems of prices of all products purchased from Epson Group
- Entry of prices of all products sold by EEB to European subsidiaries into business systems, in a complete, accurate and timely manner
- Periodically calculate relevant intercompany prices following updates from business stakeholders
- Issue price lists to ESCs quarterly and ensure SAP pricing is identical

**What we ask for**:

- Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- At least 3 years experience as GL Accountant in a complex, multi company and international environment
- Experience of Inventory Accounting
- Advanced skills in Excel and experience with SAP
- Deadline driven
- Good communication and strong analytical skills
- Hands on and no 9-5 mentality
- Strong English language skills
