We're not just passionate about coffee; we're downright obsessed. From sourcing the finest beans to crafting the perfect roast, we take pride in every step of the journey from farm to cup. Our bustling roastery is where the magic happens, and we're on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our team as a roastery assistant who can help us make sure nothing is falling through the cracks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the unloading and storage of green coffee beans.
- Keep our green and roasted bean inventory organized and well-stocked.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure they have the beans they need to pack and/or roast
- Help pack and prepare orders for shipping for our customers.
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Assist the dispatch team with preparing shipping labels before the delivery vans arrive
- Support the team by fetching supplies and equipment as needed.
- Pack roasted coffee beans
- Assist in the production process with whatever it is needed
- Pitch in with cleaning and maintaining equipment to keep it in tip-top shape and flag irregularities.
- Be ready to lend a hand wherever it's needed in the roastery.
- Keep the energy level high with your positive attitude and willingness to jump in and get things done.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment (coffee or food industry experience is a plus).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of green coffee beans or roasted coffee buckets with ease.
- Excellent attention to detail and a knack for staying organized.
- A team player mentality with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while still being able to perform solo tasks.
- Flexibility to work, sometimes you might be required to pack coffee the entire day and sometimes you might be assigned to only fulfilling orders.
- You need to be comfortable around machinery and technology
