Electrical Engineering Embedded Systems Internship

**Background information**:
The Development & Engineering (D&E) sector of ASML is responsible for the specification, design and realization of the products in the ASML portfolio. Within D&E, the Electronic Development (EDEV) cluster is accountable for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of all electronic functions and modules within these products. Our team - Power and High Voltage Electronics (within EDEV) designs power cabinets and amplifiers, responsible for specific functions in ASML machines.
**Your assignment**:
Your apprenticeship in the Power and High Voltage Electronics team will be about implementing a qualification testing tool. This will involve a combination of software, hardware, and firmware.
For this assignment, some of your tasks will include:
- Design the hardware for the qualification testing tool;
- Develop the firmware code for the implementation;
- Test the functionality of the tool in combination with the power cabinet.
**Your profile**:
To be a match for this assignment, you:
- Are busy with your bachelor's or master's in Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems;
- Have knowledge of Very High Speed Integrated Circuit (VHSIC) Hardware Description Language **;**
- Possess some hands-on experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) soldering (good to have);
- Have a proactive attitude and a hands-on mentality;
- Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
This is an apprentice internship for 5 days a week with a duration of 4 to 6 months. The start date is around September.
**Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.**
