**Introduction to the job**
ASML is an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry. The lithography solutions that we design are complex, high tech machines involving a wide array of technologies and safety & regulatory domains. Within Global Product Safety & Regulatory team we ensure that ASML is strategically well positioned in the Semiconductor environment on the topic of Product safety & regulatory compliance.
Since our business is growing, our products are getting more complex and safety regulations are getting more stringent, we are looking for an experienced Regulatory Intelligence manager to help us further develop & built our global position in the field of Product safety & regulatory.
As the regulatory intelligence manger you are the owner of the corporate regulatory intelligence process and the deliverables. In this role you lead a global team to identify & mitigate external regulatory risks to secure ASML’s position on the area on product safety & regulatory on the global market.
The Regulatory Intelligence manager reports to the Head of Global Product safety & regulatory.
**Role and responsibilities**
- Responsible for leading and executing the corporate regulatory process
- Leading country regulatory experts
- Accountable for the monitoring and understanding of new and upcoming regulations, standards and regulatory trends with an internal team
- Strategizes with competence leaders, legal and governmental affairs on lobby and standardization approach for upcoming product standards and regulations
- Coordinates the global participation of ASML people in working groups and committees
- Senior representative of ASML on technical taskforces, workgroups in associations and standardization committees
- Accountable for maintaining an extensive network to ensure that ASML is optimally placed in its understanding of regulatory and compliance environments.
**Education and experience**
- A technical master’s degree in e.g. Physics, Electronics engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in dealing with Standardization and conformity assessments
- Experience in working in a high tech, high demanding & dynamic environment
- Previous in depth experience in translation technical challenges into regulatory aspects
- A passion to match the targets in these fields realistically with business constraints;
