**Regulatory Expert** (freelance)

with a comprehensive understanding of Dutch regulatory frameworks. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance for our growing portfolio. If you are fluent in Dutch and familiar with the intricate details of AIFMD, Wft and Wwft, as well as AFM practices, we’d love to connect.

Please note that for this role fluency in Dutch and English is **mandatory.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting submissions
- Oversee periodic SFDR reporting, focusing on the mid-year 2025 reporting requirements.
- Coordinate the filing of new fund documentation, including preparing regulatory documentation. Manage queries from AFM throughout the fund approval process.
- Oversee updates to fund documentation and maintain strong communication with AFM.
- Conduct reviews of marketing, advertising, and sales outreach materials to ensure regulatory and compliance alignment.
- Provide guidance on international activities.

**Compliance and Support Responsibilities**
- Assist Compliance with implementation of the DORA framework
- Prepare responses to anticipated AFM information requests
- Aid in training the sales team for fund launches
- Provide regulatory guidance during audit processes.
- Contribute to overall risk management, including SIRA and AML assessments.
- Monitor changes to legal framework and guidelines, and work with relevant teams to update policies and practices accordingly

**Regulatory Knowledge**:

- Essential: AIFMD and delegated acts and ESMA Guidelines, WFT and BGfo, Wwft and associated AFM/DNB Guidelines, and a clear understanding of and familiarity with AFM practices.
- Preferred: Familiarity with MiFID II, ELTIF, SFDR, and DORA regulations.

**Your Profile**
- A legal background specializing in financial services, European/financial law, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in regulatory reporting, fund documentation, and compliance within the financial services industry.
- Ability to navigate complex compliance scenarios, manage AFM interactions, and work collaboratively with internal teams.
