**Your Assignments**
The SkyTeam alliance consists of leading airlines committed to innovation and seamless travel experiences. It is at the forefront of revolutionizing the way passengers interact with the aviation industry. This internship offers a unique opportunity to delve into the multifaceted landscape of digital identification and biometrics in the travel sector. Interns will explore a range of aspects including industry and government standards, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions shaping the market
- ** Industry and Government Standards**: Interns will gain insights into the complex framework of industry and government standards governing digital ID and biometrics in travel. Understanding compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks is crucial for implementing effective solutions.
- ** Technologies and Solutions**: Exploring the diverse array of technologies and solutions available in the market will be a core focus. From facial recognition systems to biometric authentication platforms and Digital ID wallets and protocols, interns will analyze their functionalities, benefits, and limitations.
- ** Applicable Travel Use-Cases**: Interns will examine various travel use-cases where digital ID and biometrics play a transformative role. This includes streamlining processes such as airline check-in and baggage drop-off, expedited immigrations and customs procedures, and enhancing loyalty and lounge experiences for frequent flyers. Harvest fresh ideas and initiatives from other industries to provide an outside-in perspective.
