**Your contribution to TenneT**:

- Equigy is a European Joint Venture company between six European TSOs (TenneT Netherlands, TenneT Germany, Transnet BW, APG, Swissgrid and Terna) deploying the Crowd Balancing Platform (CBP), to act as the gateway between TSO national markets for flexible power delivery (ancillary services markets) and aggregated Distributed Energy Resources (DER).
- Until now, TSO national markets for flexible power delivery were in most cases accessible only to large B2B market players with large industrial power generation and power consumption assets such as power plants or industrial production lines. Since these balancing markets present an opportunity of billions across Europe annually, there’s a great potential value for aggregated DER to participate in these markets, thereby unlocking a huge volume of additional flexibility for TSOs and DSOs for balancing and congestion management. Equigy’s CBP realizes this ambition, amongst others by creating an easy and standardized market access for aggregators to encourage more participation of DER in today’s markets. Together we build innovative solutions to support the energy transition.
- Currently we are looking for a **Business analyst**, who is based in the Netherlands with a working area throughout Europe. In this important role, you will be working in the business consultancy team. You will be responsible for business requirements and data analysis in preparation of new projects for TSO’s and DSO’s in the area of flexibility, as well as for elaborating innovative platform concepts that are foreseen on future roadmap developments. Your effort is important for the company because you are the main bridge between business needs and the platform implementation.

Your profile:

- Good understanding of the electricity markets, preferably in TSO balancing and congestion management processes.
- Experienced in analysing business requirements, processes and data on new market initiatives, either for new TSO projects or for Equigy’s strategic innovation portfolio
- Translates requirements and business context into workable epics and user stories for further development and ensures throughout the entire process that these are well understood by the rest of the team.
- Works closely together with both the TSO business representatives and the Equigy IT DevOps team to realize innovative solutions.
- Becomes a trusted business partner for TSO’s in the area of flexibility resources. Is able to propose and develop alternative approaches and potential opportunities, for instance when seeking standardization of solutions between TSO’s.
- Contributes to Equigy’s strategic roadmap, by bringing in new ideas on relevant future innovations.

**Your profile and background**:

- At least 3 years of experience in business and/or data analysis in IT-related projects in the electricity sector.Team player, working effectively together with people from different backgrounds and countries, also in a remote setting.
- Proficient in IT requirements management, business process modeling and data modeling techniques
- Experience in managing a requirements process via workshops and interviews.
- Showing independence, intiative, and the ability to work in a team, as well as strong communication skills
- Master or Bachelor degree in energy, IT, or business engineering related areas.
- Willingness to travel for short transfers especially in the countries where Equigy is active. Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.
