**Overview of the Role**:
Alvarez & Marsal (“A&M”) is a global consulting firm with more than $3.5 billion in revenues, c. 10.000 staff and over 80 offices worldwide. We offer a broad range of professional services including Restructuring, Transaction Advisory, Performance Improvement, Corporate Transformation, Tax and Valuations Services.

Our Benelux operations have grown 30% within the last year. Hence, we are looking for someone to be the right-hand to Benelux Leadership team of the company and manage operations of the organization. Someone to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you anticipate needs, problem-solve efficiently, and actively contribute to the business expansion and structure.

You and your team will be responsible for overseeing the office workspace, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly, employees have the necessary resources, and the office functions efficiently to create a productive workplace with great environment.

**Job description**:
LEADERSHIP
- Support the Country Head(s) in managing day-to-day office related business.
- Manage a team of 2 administrative assistants.
- Manage calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel for a Managing Director.
- Foster and deploy Regional & Global strategic projects at office level.
- Roll out new firm processes and adapt them to the office/jurisdiction.
- Sit in local MD meetings: organization, agenda, funneling up and down.
- Sending general office notifications to staff, communicating information, such as office events, security updates or any building maintenance that could disrupt the smooth running of the office.
- Overseeing planned preventative and ad hoc maintenance for both the office and equipment, liaising with the building management to organise contractors.
- Liaising with IT to fix issues and coordinating quarterly visits to the office.

GENERAL LOCAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
- Red flagging of potential compliance issues derived from local regulations.
- Coordination with and escalation to EMEA Legal Office.
- Office headcount planning and reporting (billable & non-billable).
- Support the Country Head(s) in the analysis to take Real Estate decisions.
- Contribute to local teambuilding initiatives to promote the right A&M culture.
- Organising regular team socials and Christmas parties.
- Support office ESG initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant office vendors.
- Negotiate contracts for office services.

FINANCE
- Local Finance and Accountancy contact in coordination with EMEA Finance team.
- Coordination of local finance compliance; coordination of legal documentation review and escalation to central teams when necessary.
- Control of payments done locally, if any. Reconciliation of payments/petty cash.

HEALTH & SAFETY
- Responsibility for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety and fire regulations, implementing emergency procedures, and addressing any potential hazards that may arise.
- Office first aider and fire warden.
- Ensuring training is up to date for other first aiders/fire wardens.

HR SUPPORT
- Ultimate local responsible of logistic onboarding of new joiners.
- Control of LoAs and coordination with regional HR team.
- Contact with benefits providers and liaison with EMEA Benefits team.
- Main contact for local grievances in coordination with MDs and EMEA HR team.

**Essential requirements**:

- Seniority to work along MDs in local business discussions.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is a must
- Analytical skills and proactivity.
- Ability to proactively perform projects to successful completion within specified deadlines and be involved in executive business dealings.
- Basic understanding of accountancy, tax, legal and administrative obligations for local incorporated business.
