**About us**:
AFS Group (AFS) is a European financial services provider for business and retail customers, specializing in executing orders, providing advice and custody of financial instruments (such as shares, deposits, bonds and derivatives). In addition, AFS facilitates in-house (regulated) trading platforms, we have a MTF license and an OTF license. At the beginning of 2023, AFS expanded its activities to custody services and to offering services to retail customers via asset managers and crowdfunding platforms. The combination of these roles offers AFS great opportunities for creating new product-market combinations. AFS now has more than 160 FTE, and more than 25 nationalities spread over various entities. As a KYC & Compliance Officer you will work for the three regulated entities under AFS Group (Interest, Execution Services & E-Venues, together approximately 80 FTE).

**Content of the position**:

- Carrying out customer due diligence work for new customers; Together with the business, you ensure that we onboard customers efficiently and with adequate quality;
- You assist in carrying out periodic assessments of existing customers to ensure compliance requirements, such as our KYC/CDD policy, are met;
- You work together with internal stakeholders such as Risk, IT, the back office and the front office;
- You contribute to developing and/or revising the (compliance) policies in connection with periodic updates or changes to regulations;
- You advise and guide our employees and the organization with respect to changes in legislation and regulations and in the explanation of new and existing compliance guidelines;
- Carrying out compliance checks.

**What do we expect from you?**:

- You have completed a HBO/Bachelor's degree (e.g. Law) and you have at least 1,5 year of work experience as a KYC/CDD analyst/Compliance Officer or in a similar position;
- Retail CDD knowledge is an advantage;
- You master the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing;
- You enjoy working on Compliance tasks in addition to CDD;
- You have good communication skills and are a real team player;
- You work independently and in a structured manner, you are operationally oriented and you have a critical mindset.
