Currently, our organization is part of a carve-out/sale process, which will result in a new owner in Q2 2025. As a result of this process it is expected that the Dutch organization will have financial and fiscal responsbility for numerous foreign entities. Your basic responsbility is to ensure compliance with the local laws, internal regulations and applicable accounting principles. Expect a challenging and dynamic environment in which activities and processes need to be setup or further improved and your tasks may differ from day to day. A practical and hands-on approach is important, experience in an international corporate matrix environment very usefull.
**Job Description** Your Role as an Financial Officer**

**Legal Entity**
- Serve as the primary contact for auditors, tax authorities, and consultants.
- Act as the point of contact for financial topics.
- Handle contractual matters in alignment with legal experts..
- Ensure robust internal control procedures are in place.

**Reporting**
- Prepare and execute month-end and year-end closings..
- Oversee the preparation of the Annual Statutory Report in accordance with Dutch local GAAP
- Provide internal reports for multiple stakeholders.
- Ensure ESG reporting aligns with headquarters’ requirements.

**Finance & Accounting**
- Manage finance and accounting for several (international) legal entities.
- Handle VAT and Intrastat declarations efficiently.
- Oversee the approval of both in-house and external payments.
- Coordinate the request and reporting of government grants, such as WBSO.

**Qualifications** What You Bring**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or RA qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 7 years of proven experience in a relevant international finance or accounting role.
- Ability to work independently, with an analytical, results-oriented, and structured approach.
- Enjoys working autonomously and taking initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a timely and accurate manner.
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude and is driven by results.
- Living and working in the European Union, preferabbly in the Netherlands.
