Industrial Engineering Internship: Cost Breakdown

**Background Information**:
The Electronic Development Infrastructure group for DUV systems in ASML, owns bundles with cables, fibers and supporting mechanics which implement connections between project modules for XT and NXT machines. Also owns qualified cabinets (HLQB) with hardware of multiple modules within the DUV systems. The group has knowledge on connectivity and machine layout and they implement connections for other projects enabling all stakeholders to focus on their own expertise.

**Your assignment**

In this assignment you will do a cost breakdown on Electronic Development DUV infrastrutcure deliverables and define opportunities to reduce cost.

As part of your internship you will:

- Plan steps like assess current status of cost;
- Create new cost breakdown
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs with help of stakeholders;
- Propose alternative solutions;

**Your Profile**:
To be a perfect match for this internship, you:

- Are a studying Industrial engineering or Electrical engineering;
- Are a bachelor student who is looking for a graduation project (bachelor thesis) or a master student looking to gain work experience (master apprentice);
- Have knowledge/understanding of economics;
- Have good research skills;
- Can handle e-complexity as this topicis quite generic.

Before you apply, it’s important you adhere to the following:

- You are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship;
- You available for a period of 6-9months for 3-5days per week to perform this internship;
