De afdeling Environmental Permitting ontzorgt en ondersteunt klanten bij alle milieu gerelateerde vraagstukken. Wij verzorgen noodzakelijke vergunningaanvragen voor projecten én milieuactiviteiten op de hele Chemelot site. Daarnaast worden in opdracht van Chemelot Site Permit BV (CSP), de houder van de koepelvergunning, een aantal beheerstaken uitgevoerd en adviezen geleverd. Onze werkzaamheden zijn cruciaal in het verkrijgen en behouden van de License to Operate. De ontwikkeling van Chemelot tot circulaire hub biedt hierbij extra kansen en uitdagingen.

**Jouw uitdaging**
Als Functional Lead Environmental Permitting heb je een breed takenpakket. Je hebt een belangrijke signalerende en adviserende rol in de ontwikkelingen die spelen binnen milieuwetgeving, zowel naar de klantbedrijven en CSP op Chemelot, als naar Sitech intern. Je wordt erkend als expert op je vakgebied, ook door de provinciale
- en rijksoverheid en brancheorganisaties. Je wordt coördinator van het team dat milieuvergunning gerelateerde activiteiten uitvoert en hebt daarnaast een actieve rol in projecten.

**Hoe ga jij bijdragen**
- Je stuurt het team van Environmental Permitting functioneel aan;
- Je pakt een actieve centrale rol in het team als vakinhoudelijk expert, acteert hierin als mentor voor je collega’s en coördineert de interne operationele aansturing van vergunningaanvragen;
- Je leidt complexe vergunningaanvragen en Milieu Effect Rapportages voor bestaande fabrieken en nieuwe klanten/activiteiten op Chemelot;
- Je neemt zitting in externe gremia waardoor je op de hoogte bent van concept milieuwetgeving en meedenkt over toepasbaarheid en impact voor de procesindustrie en Chemelot specifiek en zo nodig bijstuurt. Hierbij zal komende jaren speciale aandacht nodig zijn voor de ontwikkeling van Chemelot tot circulaire hub;
- Je legt verbanden tussen diverse ontwikkelingen, thema’s en belangen van stakeholders en bent in staat om deze om te zetten tot concrete kaders en acties. Bij nieuwe wetgeving vertaal je die naar de dagelijkse praktijk en bewaakt de tijdige implementatie van wijzigingen, zodat onze klanten compliant kunnen blijven;
- Je levert advies bij projecten, bijvoorbeeld hoe het ontwerp het beste aansluit bij BBT wetgeving. Ook denk je mee over alternatieve uitvoeringen. Indien nodig, betrek je hier ook andere afdelingen bij. Jouw advies zal mede bepalen of nieuwe bedrijven actief in de chemische of circulaire economie zich vestigen op de site Chemelot;
- Je onderhoudt goede contacten met externe belanghebbenden waaronder provinciale
- en rijksoverheden.

**Jouw achtergrond**
- Je beschikt over een aantoonbaar hbo+/academisch werk -en denkniveau met als basis een afgeronde opleiding Chemische Technologie of Milieukunde. Bij voorkeur heb je deze aangevuld met een milieu-juridische opleiding;
- Je hebt 5 tot 10 jaar werkervaring op het gebied van milieuwetgeving, vergunningsaanvragen en MER studies, bij voorkeur in de procesindustrie;
- Je hebt ervaring in het aansturen van een team;
- Je bent bestuurlijk sensitief, handelt omgevingsbewust en beschikt over een uitgebreid netwerk.
- Je bent resultaatgericht en in staat om in oplossingen te denken die buiten de gebaande paden gaan;
- Je legt makkelijk contacten en zoekt proactief de samenwerking met andere betrokken disciplines.

- Je beschikt over goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatievaardigheden in het Nederlands.
