Job Overview:

As an Indian Specialty Chef at Taamaraa, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, responsible for creating and executing authentic and innovative Indian dishes. From curries to tandoori delights, your expertise in Indian cuisine will shine through as you bring your culinary mastery to our diverse menu.

Tasks
  1. Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to create and enhance our Indian specialty menu, ensuring a balance of traditional and contemporary flavors.
  2. Cooking Expertise: Showcase your skills in preparing a wide range of Indian dishes, including regional specialties, street food, and fusion creations.
  3. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations, timely service, and effective communication.
  5. Ingredient Sourcing: Oversee the sourcing of fresh and authentic ingredients, ensuring the highest quality in every dish.
Requirements
  1. Culinary Expertise: Proven experience as an Indian Specialty Chef for 2+ years with a strong portfolio of successfully executed Indian dishes.
  2. Creativity: Demonstrate a creative approach to Indian cuisine, bringing new and exciting flavors to the table.
  3. Cultural Awareness: A deep understanding of regional Indian culinary traditions and a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
  4. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, fostering a positive and efficient work culture.
  5. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  6. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and take direction from management.
