De Plesman is based in a historic monument, and is currently transformed into a brand-new lifestyle hospitality concept. All the (wonderful - if we can say so) basics are there: an astonishing monumental building, a restaurant, a bar, a gym and meeting rooms. But de Plesman is not your regular hotel, we do things differently around here.

So.. what is different you ask? We are bold. We are looking for someone who wants to evolve hospitality together with us. We believe our team members are at the heart of our hotel and make it such a special place. We can’t do this alone though, and hence we are looking for you to make sure all of our guests leave with a bright smile.

●     You are not afraid to make bold choices in order to ensure guests have truly amazing experiences. Making the right decision on the spot comes naturally to you.

 What will you be doing? 

●     Welcoming and helping guests in all of our venues. Ensure you are following service standards and operating procedures from the beginning to the end of each order and interaction

●     Set tables according to type of event and service standards, including types of linens, glassware, plate/chinaware, and silver/flatware, ensuring all supplies meet quality standards.

●     Ensure proper knowledge and usage of the audio visual system.

●     Ensure you have thorough understanding of the Banqueting Sheets. Communicate any changes if necessary.

Small print: 

●     You have 0 – 1 years of experience in a similar role. You’ll be on top of our list if you gained this experience at a 4/5-star hotel.

●     Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays;

●     You speak English fluently  

●     You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague
