B2B Field Marketing Manager

Software Improvement Group is seeking a highly skilled B2B Field Marketing Manager to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined marketing and communications strategy that drives demand generation, increases brand awareness, and strengthens our company's position as a global thought leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our global product roadmap and go-to-market calendar.
  • Manage the regional marketing budget and measure the success of marketing activities, with metrics that include unique web visitors, MQLs, and conversion into pipeline.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop, write, and edit collateral, including customer case studies, blog posts, web pages, whitepapers, webinars, press releases, and sales materials.
  • Work efficiently and proficiently with marketing technology and tools, such as Salesforce, Pardot, and Hotjar.
  • Manage PR, social media, and community building efforts for customers, prospects, and influencers, in alignment with our corporate programs and guidelines.
  • Optimize the lead/sales conversion funnel to maximize demand, including generation and nurture of leads, as well as closing campaigns and programs.
  • Build market intelligence within our MAP/CRM databases to extend outreach of marketing, BDR, and sales activities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B demand generation, marketing communications, and/or product marketing.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience in IT (enterprise software) or financial services industry or management consultancy.
  • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Native Dutch and fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Independent go-getter and team player who can hit the ground running.
  • A willingness to roll up the sleeves and deliver, passionate about building an effort from the ground up.
  • Ability to think tactically and strategically, as well as practically and operationally.
  • Always driven by simplification, elevation, and achievements.
  • Marketing automation skills, preferably with experience in tools like Pardot.
  • Web master and desktop publishing skills, including familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Previous B2B marketing experience in technology/enterprise software domain.
