At Bunge, we are a prominent entity in the oilseed processing sector, dedicated to providing superior products and innovative solutions. Our extensive oilseed processing facility in Amsterdam, primarily focused on soy and other oilseeds, encompasses both crushing and refining operations. As one of the largest establishments of its kind in Europe, we are seeking a seasoned Capital Projects Manager to join our vibrant team and lead critical projects to fruition, ensuring our facility remains at the cutting edge of industry practices and technology.
Main Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the department team, motivating them to manage all stages of capital expenditure projects from initiation to completion using Project Management methodologies.
- Establish and enforce Global Policies & Procedures for the Project Management system.
- Formulate project plans, detailing scope, budget, timeline, and resource distribution.
- Guarantee that projects adhere to technical specifications, quality benchmarks, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals align with business objectives.
- Conduct risk evaluations and implement strategies for mitigation.
- Supervise contractor selection, negotiation, and management processes.
- Track project advancement and provide consistent updates to management.
- Identify and address project challenges and conflicts in a timely manner.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders.
Who Are You?
As a Capital Projects Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing capital expenditure initiatives within our crushing and refining operations. You will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex projects, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and technical specifications. Your expertise will be vital in managing budgets, timelines, and resources to achieve optimal outcomes.
- University or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing production or engineering environments.
- Proficient in English.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale capital expenditure projects, preferably within the food processing or agricultural sectors.
