About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Projects Department Manager to join our dynamic team at Bunge, a leading player in the oilseed processing industry. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing capital expenditure projects at our crushing and refinery lines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a department team to drive key projects to success, ensuring our plant remains at the forefront of practices and cutting-edge technology.
  • Implement and lead global policies and procedures for project management systems.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects meet technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with business goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee contractor selection, negotiation, and management.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to plant management.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts promptly.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination among stakeholders.

Requirements

  • University or Bachelor degree in engineering, project management, or other related field.
  • 10+ years of working experience in manufacturing production or engineering department.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale capex projects, preferably in the food processing or agricultural industry.
