The Mama Makan bar is looking for a skilled and charismatic Bartender

To provide exceptional guest experiences, you will be responsible for taking orders, preparing and serving beverages according to the established standards and service sequence.

You will also need to be familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu, follow standard recipes, minimize waste, and ensure the beverage cost is in line with budget.

In addition, you will handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

This role entails delivering exceptional, friendly, courteous and professional guest service at all times, being flexible and meeting special guest requests for specific preparation methods and ingredients.

You will work closely with the team to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is €35,000-€50,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a range of benefits, including health insurance, pension scheme, and paid holidays.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of F&B experience, ideally working at a high-end bar within a Hotel
  • Familiarity with cocktail preparation and wine service, also having great barista skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Good language and communication skills in English, and preferably in Dutch as well
  • Licence to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit for the country
