About the Role

ORTEC is seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Software Engineer. As a Trainee Software Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to experience and explore the many facets of being a Software Engineer at ORTEC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in different teams and disciplines of software engineering, including back end, front end, and cloud engineering.
  • Develop skills in programming languages such as C#, Python, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues and learn from them.
  • Participate in development programs and attend courses and seminars to enhance your skills.
  • Work on challenging and practical projects with opportunities to work abroad.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Econometrics, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Passion for software engineering and mathematics.
  • Ability to handle high complexity and work in a team.
  • Conscientious in staying abreast of new developments.
  • Programming skills in languages such as C#, C++, Java, or similar.
  • Experience with modeling is an advantage.
