About the Role

As a Sales Engineer Used Vessels, you will be responsible for chartering and selling second-hand vessels on a daily basis. This involves ensuring the profitable employment of the charter fleet and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on offers to clients and partners.
  • Monitor market developments, conditions, and charter rates to stay competitive.
  • Draft and negotiate BIMCO contracts to secure vessel sales.
  • Coordinate with operations staff, clients, captains, agents, and brokers to handle post-fixture activities.
  • Visit projects, clients, and vessels as required to report findings and identify operational and technical improvements.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive individual with a technical background and commercial mindset. A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in the maritime industry is required, preferably in Marine Surveyor, Chief Engineer, or Superintendent roles.

Requirements
  • A strong understanding of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to travel abroad for business purposes.

Estimated Salary:

€60,000 - €80,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
