Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of developers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality solutions for our warehouse systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders from technology and business to drive our vision of a modular software platform
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operation and proactively communicate with colleagues in operations to validate the quality and effectiveness of your team's software
- Make informed decisions that balance timeline, cost, and quality
- Help the team plan and prioritize, and ensure a smooth delivery of planned work
- Communicate your views when specifying new features with stakeholders and provide technical mentorship to colleagues
- Build and evaluate team members through regular development conversations, personalized coaching, and mentorship
- Manage a sustainable support model for your product
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 7 years of experience in back-end development, including Java, Spring Boot, AMQP, and SQL
- At least 2 years of experience in leading projects and/or teams
- Strong abstract thinking and ability to translate high-level architectures into executable plans
- Intrinsic need to validate ideas with others and leverage expertise from others
- Demonstrable experience in large-scale, long-running refactoring projects
- Decision-making based on business risks and opportunities
- Experience with cloud-based software architecture and affinity with hardware automation
- Great English skills and ability to structure thoughts and express them clearly
- Experience with migrating from a monolith to a microservices architecture
- Experience in working with or integrating with PLC software
- Experience with taking ownership of a large code base
