We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team at Picnic, a leading online supermarket in Europe. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our product categories.
Key Responsibilities- Category Development: Develop and implement strategies to drive category growth, improve product quality, and increase profitability.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the market.
- Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products, negotiate prices, and improve product quality.
- Product Development: Work with cross-functional teams to develop new products, improve existing products, and remove underperforming products from the market.
- Category Performance Monitoring: Monitor category performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop plans to address these areas.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and logistics teams.
- Education: Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or supply chain management.
- Experience: 1-4 years of experience in a commercial or analytical environment, preferably in a category management role.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a commercial drive to drive category growth and profitability.
- Language: Fluent in Dutch and English.
