About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park in Amsterdam. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for leading our pastry section and delivering exceptional desserts to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the pastry section of our kitchen and ensure high-quality desserts are delivered to our guests.
  • Supervise and coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation.
  • Plan production to meet daily requirements and develop seasonal menu offerings.
  • Manage food cost controls to contribute to F&B revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with colleagues and guests.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Available to work early mornings, including 6 am starts, and every day of the week.
