The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Hydrodynamics team as a Graduation Thesis Project Hydrodynamics. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing a research project, applying advanced CFD methods in various phases of ship design. The project will involve the use of design tools to achieve research goals, and the candidate will be expected to deliver a detailed in-depth analysis of the research problem and communicate the results to other departments.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute a research project on hydrodynamics, applying advanced CFD methods in various phases of ship design
- Use design tools to achieve research goals
- Deliver a detailed in-depth analysis of the research problem
- Communicate the results to other departments
- Top-class student in Naval Architecture, Maritime Technology, Aerospace engineering, Mechanical engineering, or Applied Physics
- Passionate about ships and shipbuilding, with a good understanding of hull form design principles
- Basic experience in CFD analysis or a proven ability to become familiar with this subject in a short time
- Familiar with 3D CAD software, programming tools, and Linux
- Capable of identifying and communicating with multiple stakeholders
- Independent, curious, analytical, and proactive
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
- A monthly allowance for the duration of the assignment
- Proper mentoring at BSc or MSc level will be available throughout the project
- The ability to test and enhance your professional and social skills
- Acquired experience at a top-tier company to add to your reference list
