The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of new fluid-structure interaction models. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or a related field, and will be responsible for planning and executing research projects related to naval vessel vulnerability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new analysis methods and engineering tools to achieve research goals
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of research problems and communicate results to other departments
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and refine research projects

Requirements

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or a related field
  • Strong background in hydrodynamics and ship structures
  • Experience with simulation tools such as CFD and other hydro-structures related tools
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
