Join Damen Naval as a Graduate Researcher in Naval Shipbuilding

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented graduate researcher to join our team at Damen Naval. As a graduate researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects related to naval vessel vulnerability, including fatigue analysis, hydrodynamics, and structural design.

About the Role

As a graduate researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on naval vessel vulnerability, including:

  • Developing and implementing fatigue analysis methods and tools
  • Conducting hydrodynamic analysis and simulations
  • Designing and analyzing structural components of naval vessels

You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers and researchers to develop and implement new technologies and methods to improve the safety and efficiency of naval vessels.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Naval Architecture
  • Strong knowledge of hydrodynamics, ship structures, and fatigue analysis
  • Proficiency in Python and MATLAB programming languages
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
