Naval Vessel Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Shock & Noise to join our team at Damen Naval. As a Specialist Shock & Noise, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced naval vessels for customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop naval vessels with respect to joint requirements
- Conduct full-scale testing and validations on board
- Support R&D projects in the field of shock and noise
- Develop and implement software, products, and processes
- Bachelor or Master degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical engineering, or Aerospace engineering
- Knowledge of and experience with (underwater) shock and noise onboard ships
- Experience with relevant software tools (6-DOF, FEMAP, ANSYS) and international standards (STANAG, IMO, Class)
- Good command of English written and verbal
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport required
- Working from home policy and other benefits including a bicycle plan and company fitness
