About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. in Lelystad. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all garments meet the necessary requirements for distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect garments for quality and accuracy
  • Run tests to ensure products meet requirements
  • Choose the best ironing option and report any quality issues
  • Manage and resolve quality incidents
  • Check the quality and finish of textiles after ironing, sewing, and steaming
  • Request goods measurements and define parameters for samples received from suppliers
  • Train on new finishes, quality, and parameters
  • Control incoming goods and check with department tools and applications

Requirements

  • Textile knowledge of tailoring and garments treatment with different types of ironing on an industrial scale
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage
  • Availability to work in shifts
  • EU driving license
  • Commitment to deliver high-quality work and a professional critical attitude
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and proactive
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
