We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Controller to join our team at NLwerkt. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Consolidate financial data from 54 countries and coordinate with foreign entities
- Coordinate the monthly closing process and prepare annual accounts
- Optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Co-responsible for tax returns and advising on tax issues
- Draw up and analyze management and ad hoc reports
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Participate in projects such as implementing a new ERP package and consolidation tool
- Act as a sparring partner and advisor on complex financial issues
- Bachelor's degree in a financial field (Business Economics, Accountancy, etc.)
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a financial controller, (assistant) auditor, or a similar position
- Experience with complex consolidation tasks
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, commercially-driven environment
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English
- A versatile position in an informal organization with a very pleasant working atmosphere
