Job Description

We are looking for a skilled engineer to develop control & automation concepts and processes for our 2GW Grid Connection Systems. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that operational requirements are met and existing maintenance strategies are adapted to guarantee long-term availability and technical integrity of our facilities.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the development of control systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Maintain asset data and documentation to enable safe and efficient maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and Grid Connection Managers to optimize operational readiness.
  • Develop new standardization options, quality improvements, or process optimizations.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Your Profile and Background

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • An intrinsically motivated personality, capable of working in a dynamic, diverse, and international team.
  • A degree in Electronics and Instrument engineering or Electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification in Instrumentation & Control or Industrial Automation.
  • Proven experience with Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, and SCADA systems, preferably with ABB or Siemens control systems.
  • Familiarity with review of control philosophies and narratives, with a good understanding of P&ID's, existing automation system designs, and architecture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and/or English.
  • A willingness to work across locations and countries, with occasional travel in North-West Europe.

Our Offer
