Job Overview:
- Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with practical expertise in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proficient in Cucumber and Automation Testing methodologies.

Technical Environment:
Our team is primarily backend-focused, with Java being a core component of our technology stack.
We embrace a cloud-first approach, utilizing CDK alongside our proprietary Kubernetes framework.
Team members will have opportunities to engage with TypeScript, serverless architectures, message queues, gateways, and various AWS-native solutions. CI/CD practices are integral to our engineering culture.
We are committed to enhancing our technical infrastructure to elevate our services to industry standards.
Currently, we deploy services on both cloud and on-premises environments using AWS CDK and our internal tools.
Common AWS technologies in our stack include S3, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambdas, and API Gateway.
Role Responsibilities:
This position is heavily oriented towards CI/CD, collaborating closely with the team on a daily basis.
Engagement begins at the product vision stage, providing insights during the design phase, guiding the team through optimal quality control practices, and participating in all team ceremonies.
Act as the quality checkpoint for the team, ensuring that every task undergoes thorough testing prior to production release.
Assist the team with compliance processes, including evidence collection, documentation creation and updates, responding to various inquiries, coordinating with stakeholders, and reviewing experiments and data.
This role encompasses more than the above tasks; it provides a glimpse into the responsibilities of a quality engineer. As we scale, we aim to embed quality through automation.
Dedicate efforts to developing automated test suites tailored for diverse quality strategies, such as smoke tests and pact tests.
Future responsibilities may include integrating automation within the CI/CD pipeline for performance testing.
