We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Activation Specialist to join our team in The Netherlands.

As a Site Activation Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating processes, resourcing, and communications within a department, across departments, or within the country assigned. You will act as liaison and facilitator between customer leaders and senior management for related tasks and/or issues.

You will also oversee site activation end-to-end process at country/site level, support management with site start-up and financial management tasks of projects, as well as strategy development for process improvement. You will facilitate and support project reviews with Clinical Operations staff, focusing on budget, schedule, and risk analysis.

You will interact with executive management and Legal Department and assist with the accurate creation and implementation of site start-up and regulatory management workflows. You will identify and report on areas of process and risk.

You will track and measure portfolio, project and team progress through collection of cycle time metrics and other key performance indicators (KPIs). You will communicate metrics, KPIs, and other relevant project information to team and departmental leadership.

You will propose solutions to issues that may arise and assist with reporting of department and team metrics/cycle times and strategies to improve metrics/cycle times.

You will oversee the implementation of customer-required and/or enterprise-wide project management systems and tools. You will participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise project management systems, acting as a systems manager; may supervise a systems administrator.

You will develop requirements for modifications to existing systems and reports based on input from functional teams. You will provide input and requirements for long-range IT plans.

You will implement Company and customer-required project management systems and processes.

You will lead teams of subject matter experts in the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI) to support new or existing processes.

You will develop and implement strategies and tools for tracking contract management team metrics/cycle times.

You will oversee all quality control efforts of individual departmental teams.

You will represent the Company at professional meetings or seminars.

You will establish and maintain training materials for assigned area.

You may act as Country Delivery Lead: Responsible for operational delivery across the county portfolio for country participation through to site start up and ending in site activation and First Patient In.

Analyses country and site metrics to ensure baseline project deliverables are being met to facilitate first patient in Sponsor projections; including planned baseline for completed regulatory green light with fully executed site contracts and increase efficiency in overall project delivery.

Performs operational site level planning, including efficient allocation of resources within country.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in a clinical research organization and related contract management or site start-up experience
  • Background in development/management of information systems and process engineering preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations, drug development, and clinical project management procedures
  • Fluency in Dutch and proficient in English
  • Strong presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), MS Project, email, and Internet
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines, delivering high quality work in a dynamic environment
