Job Title: Freelance Transcriber

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Transcriber to join our team at the International Criminal Court. As a Freelance Transcriber, you will be responsible for transcribing audio and video recordings in various languages.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have excellent transcription skills, a strong understanding of language nuances, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for producing high-quality transcripts, consulting with our team to clarify ambiguities, and applying feedback to ensure delivery of a quality product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transcribe audio and video recordings in various languages with high accuracy and speed
  • Consult with our team to clarify ambiguities and build glossaries
  • Apply feedback to ensure delivery of a quality product
  • Meet deadlines and deliver transcripts on time
Requirements
  • Language Proficiency: Mother-tongue proficiency in English is required
  • Experience: Prior experience in transcription or a related field is preferred
  • Skills and Abilities: Good computer and information technology skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
